                                                                    MINUTES FOR MARCH 13,2007

CALL TO ORDER

IN ATTENDANCE

OTHERS PRESENT

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes from January 9, 2007 were approved. The meeting scheduled for Feb. 13, 2007

              was cancelled due to a snow storm.

 

PRESENTATIONS: BOARD & COMMITTEE REPORTS

Board of Supervisors:  no report

Planning Commission: The proposed change to the Dengler property was approved.  The proposal for the residential

              and commercial development on route 39 will be  on the agenda at the March 22 meeting.  The transportation and

              development plan will be discussed at a workshop on March 14.

Parks and Rec: no report

Safety Advisory Board: no report

Township Manager:  no report

Zoning Officer:  no report

 

SUBDIVISION/LAND DEVELOPMENT REVIEWS

The committee reviewed plans:

Evergreen Ridge, Classic Communities

Neil R. and Josephine Shatto, Mumma Road

Charles and Lorie Barnes, Berkstone Circle

TOWNSHIP REQUESTED ACTIONS

              Township Parks landscaping details for entrances: tabled

              Landscape Ordinance Update: Sections 195-122 & 124: tabled

BUSINESS

              MS4 Poster List – EAC members selected business for distributing posters.

              Budget- Audrey distributed copies of the annual budget and explained differences.  Expenses are reported each quarter.

              Tire Recycling Project – Audrey distributed forms for recording tire recycling fees.

Recycling Can Project- Patti has been unable to contact Tom Stang from Waste Management to determine the size, quantity, and acquisition of new cans.

Scenic W. Hanover Awards – Carol reported that the awards will be given on April 16 at the Board of Supervisors’ meeting.

Rain Garden Improvements- Thank-you notes and packets of seeds have been sent to everyone who helped with the rain

garden.  Jim Egenreider suggested improvements.  A weeding date will be scheduled at a later time.
