APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the
December were amended and approved.
BOARD & COMMITTEE REPORTS
Board of Supervisors : An airport ordinance was discussed. Interviews for the vacant seat will be held Saturday, Jan. 13 and the appointment will be made on Tuesday, Jan.16.
Planning Commission: There will be a review and update of the transportation section of the comprehensive plan. The definition of and restrictions on accessory apartments were discussed.
Parks and Rec: no report
Safety Advisory Board: no report
Township Manager: Mike Rimer reported that the composting area rolloffs cost $150 per month and they may be removed during winter to save money. An anti–freeze recycling tank may be added to the recycling center. Improvements designed to manage water runoff at the township garage property were discussed.

Township Parks landscaping details for entrances – tabled
Landscape Ordinance Update: Sections 195-122 & 124 - tabled
Walnut Run Storm Water Mitigation Site – Yingst Homes is effecting a wetlands mitigation project at Walnut Run to replace the ineffective mitigation at the Brook View site. This action was approved by the DER.
Oak Slab – The slab has been cut and moved indoors. Sanding is the next step. The steel banding broke and was replaced by a cable, and the bark came off.
Recycling Can Project: Patti wants to present the planto the Board of Supervisors on Jan 16.
Sagewicke Retention Basin Project – There will be a meeting on Feb. 6 with the Homeowners’ Association, the Manada Conservancy, and the Alliance to discuss the plan to improve the retention basin.
MS 4 Posters – There are 45
MS4 posters that are available for distribution by EAC members.
Tire Recycling – The date will be April 26, 27, and 28,
2007. The hours will be 4:00 – 7:00
Thursday and Friday and 9:00 – 12:00 on Saturday.
Christmas
Tree Recycling - The recycling will
continue for the next 2 Saturdays at the township garage.
