CALL TO ORDER

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

              Minutes for June 12, 2007 were approved.                                                                                                

 BOARD & COMMITTEE REPORTS  

Board of Supervisors – Three issues were discussed: complaints by Brynfield residents concerning the development of

Skyline Commons Park; rezoning of a tract of land at Old Jonestown Road and Piketown Road; payment for upkeep of

the traffic light at Route 39 and Old Jonestown Road.

 Planning Commision –All of last month’s plans were tabled.  The Planning Commission had a walk-through of the

property for the proposed Olde Towne Hanover to ascertain how land features would impact the plan for development.

There were two rezoning requests.

Parks and Rec – no report

Safety Advisory Board – The Board of Supervisors looked at the problem of trucks idling their engines at the truck stop.

Township Manager – no report

Zoning Officer – no report

SUBDIVISION/LAND DEVELOPMENT REVIEWS

              The committee reviewed plans:

              #07.009 FS/LD David and Toni Weakley

              #07.010 F/LD IFR Building Addition

TOWNSHIP REQUESTED ACTIONS

              Township Parks landscaping details for entrances: Tabled

              Landscape Ordinance Update: Sections 195-122 & 124: Tabled

BUSINESS

Recycling Can Project –Patti drafted a letter for the Township Supervisors’ July 16 meeting.  If the project is approved, a notice could be included in the next township newsletter.

Fairville Rain Garden –The sigh is being produced at FastSigns and rain garden notecards will be ready for July 21.  Patti is also working on a calendar. Butterflies and Blooms will be July 21, 9:30 -11:00.

Recycling _practices were discussed as a result of the visit to the recycling plant.

Wetlands Kiosk – plans for the installation at Skyline Commons are due by September and content was discussed.

Oil Spill Update – no new information
