MINUTES FOR SEPTEMBER 11, 2007

PUBLIC COMMENT

Tom Wilson, KNW Engineers, reviewed the revised plan for Oak Grove Manor relative to the EAC comments of Sept. 7.

Linda Turns asked the EAC to see the developer or Mr. Leonard immediately if a problem at a building site is observed, so as to

not allow a possible violation of ordinances to continue. Procedures and practices of site preparation were discussed.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes from August 14, 2007 were amended and approved.

PRESENTATIONS: BOARD & COMMITTEE REPORTS

Board of Supervisors: no report

Planning Commission: The Oak Grove Manor plan was tabled at the applicant’s request. The Cackovic-Yingst plan was tabled. The Olde Towne Hanover plan was tabled, with a grant of time extension. The Weiser plan received approval. The Sleep Inn plan was tabled, and the text emendment proposed by Kairos / Williams for Odle Towne Hanover was returned to the BOS with a recommendation to approve.

Parks and Rec: no report

Safety Advisory Board: no report

Township Manager: Patti submitted information for updating the EAC page.

Zoning Officer: no report

SUBDIVISION/LAND DEVELOPMENT REVIEWS

The committee reviewed plans:

TOWNSHIP REQUESTED ACTIONS

Township Parks landscaping details for entrances: tabled

Landscape Ordinance Update: Sections 195-122 & 124

BUSINESS

Oak Slab – will be removed from the garage Sept. 13 and will be stored by John Miele.

Skyline Commons Wetland Exhibit – The written material will be edited for the permanent exhibit, and posters are needed for a temporary display.

Calendar – Patti presented a proof of the Rain Garden Calendar for 2008

Rain Garden Update – Patti made recommendations for replacing and supplementing some plantings.

Climate Change Seminar for 2008 – is a possible project for the EAC.

PUBLIC COMMENTS and/or OTHER BUSINESS

September is the Manada Concervancy Fall Native Plant Sale

September 29 is the West Hanover Fall Festival and volunteers are needed 3:00 – 6:00 at the EAC display.
