WEST HANOVER TOWNSHIP PARK AND RECREATION BOARD

I.               CALL TO ORDER:

The regular meeting of the West Hanover Township Park and Recreation Board was called to order at 7:04 p.m. by Chairman Bob Leonard.

IV         PUBLIC COMMENTS

Pati Albreight, Resident discussed the walking path.

Mr. Walsh, Resident, discussed the removal of trees at Skyline Park.  Would like a berm and white pine tree screening.  A motion to recommend this to the Board of Supervisors was made by Mike Geppert, a second by Linda Turns.  The motion passed unanimously.

 

V.          PRESENTATIONS/REPORTS

A.    Baseball- None

B.    Ped Path- Mike Geppert  Tom Stoner will look at the ped path section, left of the dumpster.   (free of charge). Bob Jones complained about the location of the ped path post. Some posts are still missing. Mike is seeking permission to put 3 posts in at Mike Filnosky and John Wolf property.

C.    C.   Fall Fest-      Moving along, no meeting has been scheduled.

 

VI.        APPROVAL OF MINUTES

A motion was made by Mrs. Turns, seconded by Julie Young, to approve the minutes of May 16, 2007. The motion passed unanimously.  

 

VII        TREASURES REPORT-

The Filo and Park Development funds were reviewed by the Park and Recreation Board.

 

VIII.     TOWNSHIP STAFF REPORT

Park and Recreation Coordinator. None

Maintenance

Eagle Scout Project- Paul Wilson attended and presented his project.  Bob Leonard suggested he check with Public Works for the use of equipment. It was also suggested he check with Lezzer Lumber and Home Depot for donations toward the project.  Also, try to get a donation toward stones.  The cost of timleus is $500.00, plus $62.50 for Stakes.  Completion date is before the start of school.   A motion to move ahead on the project was made by Linda Turns, a second by Julie Young.  The motion passed unanimously

A.          Project status report

B.          Log cabin Information required on the new Log Cabin.

C.          Bankshot basketball no new information

The monthly meeting of the Park and Recreation Board was adjourned at 8:o0 p.m. A motion was made by Mrs. Turns, seconded by Mrs. Young to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.
