COMMENTS
Paul Wilson from troop 360 of Holy name of Jesus approached the Park and Recreation Board about possibly doing an Eagle Scout project in one of West Hanover Townships Parks.
V. PRESENTATIONS/REPORTS
A. Baseball- Mr. Holt reported that the baseball association has 23 teams registered for the 2007 season. Baseballs field day will be April 14 with the rain date being April 21. The opening day for baseball is April 28, and the Park and Recreation Board members are invited.
B. Ped Path-
C. Fall
Fest- The 2007 Fall Fest committee had a meeting on Monday March 5 at 6:00pm.
The committee mailed out a sponsorship letter to all businesses. The committee needs
volunteers to man food stand, games, etc.
VII. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion was made by Mr.Geppert, seconded by Ms.Young, to
approve the minutes of February21, 2007. The motion passed unanimously.

Development funds were reviewed by the Park and Recreation Board.
IX. TOWNSHIP STAFF REPORT
Ms. Fesig furnished the Park
and Recreation with updates on the following Projects:
Maintenance
Mowing Contract- was awarded to Ways Lawn care
PRPS Annual Conference- Dixie & LaRue will be out
of the office from March 25-28
Skyline Grant- the project
is progressing, the bid packets are out, the equipment is being delivered and
as of now we are on schedule. The opening of the bids are scheduled for April
11, 2007.
Teener
Concession Stand – This project has been completed except for the outside
lights.
X PLANS
FOR REVIEW
A. F/SB Neil & Josephine Shatto- This
plan was a boundary adjustment, no new lots, no new dwelling units and no
fee-in-lieu money.
B. F/SB Charles & Lorie Barnes- this
is (2) two lots ((1) one existing and (1) one new) along Berkstone circle off
Rt. 39 & Jonestown. The Park & Recreation Board is recommending
fee-in-lieu. A motion was made by Ms. Turns, second by Ms. Young
to recommend Fee-in-lieu to the Board of Supervisors. The motion passed
unanimously.

inspection date was changed to April 14 at 8:00am.
XII NEW BUSINESS
Grant for Lenker Park- Bankshot Basketball – The
Park & Recreation Board discussed briefly, the board requested that Ms.
Fesig check at the PRPS conference for information.
