The workshop meeting came to order at 7:05 p.m.

TRANSPORTATION CHAPTER VIII – COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT

Mr. Leonard began the meeting with the update to Chapter VIII, Transportation, of the Comprehensive Plan. A consultant will be hired to help complete this update. The Planning Commission agreed to the following changes, which are attached to these minutes. The Consultant is to assist with the updating of the tables and technical data.

It was suggested SALDO section 173-25B(3) definition for Arterial Road Classification be revised to match the Comprehensive Plan. This will be amended when the SALDO review begins.

Discussion of the street inventory (beginning on page 13 of Chapter VIII) will occur at the February PC meeting. Members were also given several copies of Heliport ordinances to review for discussion at the February 23, 2006 regular meeting.
