meeting came to order at 7:00 p.m.

PROPOSED
HELIPORT ORDINANCE
Mr. Leonard presented a draft heliport/helipad ordinance for review by
the Commission. A copy of the original
draft is attached to these minutes.
Revisions included:
· Remove the word
minor from the Heliport definition
· Provide definitions
for isolation distance, fueling station, landing area and helicopter
· Staff is to contact
HRG about updating the noise ordinance
· BE district will be
removed from the Helipad section to the Heliport section
· Helicopters are to
be a conditional use
Section 195-182, Helipads in the FRA, RR, and
BE Districts:

No fueling stations or service bays allowed. Fuel tanks limited to 500 gallons
permitted upon approval by the Township Fire Marshal and in accordance with

Carol Buskirk presented information on Ag Zoning from Dickinson School of
Law. The Commission wondered how many
20+ FRA parcels there are in the Township.
