WORKSHOP MEETING – ZONING ORDINANCE UPDATES

The workshop meeting came to order at 7:02 p.m.

ORDINANCE 2005-4, Chapter 168, Stormwater Management Ordinance

Mr. Brulo, Township Engineer, gave a brief history of the ordinance and the requirements of NPDES Phase II. The new stand alone ordinance includes portions of Act 167 and portions of the ordinance that already existed in the SALDO and Zoning Ordinances. MS4 requires that the ordinance addresses illicit discharge, erosion and sedimentation, post construction stormwater management and penalties.

The Planning Commission reviewed the draft ordinance and a copy showing changes is attached to these minutes. Due to time constraints, remaining comments (pages 32 through 60) were to be e-mailed to Al Brulo for incorporation into the document.
