A.    June 2, 2005 – Mr. Gochenour moved, seconded by Mr. Ditzel to approve the minutes of June 2, 2005 as presented.  Motion passed unanimously.

7.     OLD BUSINESS

A.      Douglas Road and Devonshire Heights Road Intersection – Pending

E.       Alcohol Ordinance Draft – Tabled

F.       Letter to Senator Santorum about Weather Services Duties Act of 2005 – No comments

 

8.   NEW BUSINESS –

A.      Discussion on Traffic Calming Devices/Configurations – The board would like to invite the township engineer to the September PSAB meeting go over the ordinance and specs for entrances to developments.  There is concern that the entrances that have boulevard type dividers cause difficulty for the fire company and other emergency responders and their equipment because they are not wide enough.  Mr. Cassel moved, seconded by Mel Gochenour to review the ordinance and recommend necessary changes to the specifications for entrances to all developments.  Motion passed unanimously.

 

9.   OTHER BUSINESS/CORRESPONDANCE BEFORE THE PSAB

A.    School Speed Limit Sign - Mr. Cassel asked if the sign was functioning correctly.  He also said that a sun shield is needed on the sign.
