Park
Facilities Application
Due to the extensive volume of
requests by residents and non-residents to utilize West Hanover
Township’s park and recreational facilities necessitates a proper
format for the scheduling of such uses. West Hanover Township has
established user rules and regulations for the use of Township
facilities. A Park Facilities Application will go in affect as of
January 2002. All the Township facilities are set-up on a first come
first serve basis. If your group, organization or as an individual would
like to reserve our facilities (multi-purpose court, tennis courts,
volleyball courts, baseball/softball fields and pavilions) you must
contact the park and Recreation Coordinator, to complete an application
and pay the required fee. If you are league oriented and using our
facilities you must provide a certificate of Insurance with your
application. It is important that groups that repetitively use our
facilities complete the application to avoid the possibility of someone
else filling that time slot. West Hanover Township will strive
to coordinate the use public facilities for as many people as possible.
The Township of West Hanover reserves the right to reject a Park
Facilities Application if it believes the event or activity will
unreasonably interfere with other existing or planned programs and
activities, including the normal conduct and use of Township parks and
recreational facilities. To request usage of the Township’s Park facilities contact the Park and Recreation Coordinator at 652-4841.
